This year’s basketball tournament was a success thanks to all of those who gave their time and skills. This year, it was an emotional tournament for many of us who have been a part of it, since Bill Marin ‘67 first came up with the idea. We renamed our tournament the “Willie Marin Memorial Basketball Tournament”, and his presence was felt. Many of his classmates came to the first day to remember our Cathedral brother.

This year we had an 8 team two day tournament with 2 divisions. The upper bracket winners were the class of 85, Phantom Fury. They finally broke through to win after coming up short the last couple of years. The lower bracket was won by the 5 time repeating champs, Phantom Pride comprised of mainly members of the class of 88.
