Ring in the 2009

 

 

 

There was excitement in the air as over 250 Cathedral Alumni, family, and friends broke in the new gym reminiscing about the dances in the old gym.  After enjoying a great dinner catered by Steven Steak & Seafood we were entertained by Geree and the Grove, featuring Moses Hauffen class of 67 on lead guitar.  In between sets, DJ Phil Perez class of 84 kept the dance floor moving.  As the opened bar kicked in everyone waited in anticipation to ring in 2009 with a BANG!...

 

After the New Year hugs and kisses Geree and the Grove fished their set with a great medley of Sly and the Family Stone.  DJ Phil broke into one of his famous Disco Blast for the next 45 minutes to end the evening.  It was a great New Year celebration enjoyed by all who attended.  The Alumni Association thanks everyone for your continuous support and look forward to seeing you at all the great events we have planned for 2009.  View New Years Eve pictures
